It was such a great day. I started the day off by sending an e-mail blast that announced the launch of my motivational speaking career and website. After that, I volunteered at the Glastonbury Abbey’s annual golf tournament, where I was in charge of watching for potential holes in one. I ended the day with a great interview via Skype on “Breaking Free” with Marilyn Lipman Shannon. In case you missed the show, here’s a link to the full episode.
After only 12 hours of launching, I had 310 visits to my new website. I received so many e-mails with well wishes from supporters who are more than happy to spread the word. Thus far my speaking engagements have primarily focused on academic settings, from elementary schools through the college and graduate school level. Videos of prior presentations can be viewed on my website. I am also available for corporate events. If you know of anyone who may benefit from my services, please pass the site along to them. Thank you!
Today was a great start to my motivational speaking journey!

Happy Father’s Day to all of the amazing fathers out there!
I love you, Dad!
Today was another great day of speaking. I spoke in front of four more classes at Abigail Adams Middle School. I kept my speeches shorter than usual today. I did this because I wanted to have enough time for the students to ask any questions that they wanted.
I feel that even though I spoke for a shorter period of time, I was able to get my message across. When it came to the time where the students were able to write their feedback, I learned that they all heard my message loud and clear. “Treat others, no matter what they look like, the way that you want to be treated and chase after your dreams, no matter what! Anything is possible for anyone.”
I’m so thankful for every opportunity that I get to speak. I look forward to many more speaking days to come.
